Hammond did not want to return Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG
Driving around in the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG will offer motorists more fun than "working in a beer factory", according to Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond.
Writing his blog for the Daily Mirror, Hammond revealed that he still did not want to return the vehicle after a week of use due to its range of positive attributes.
Alongside the delights of the rumbles and roars made by the vehicle’s V8 engine, Hammond notes the comfort offered and added quirks such as electric seats that blow cool air onto the driver’s back.
Added relaxation is provided by the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG’s performance, with the vehicle having the capability of good speeds by simply "tickling" the accelerator pedal, Hammond also stated.
Motorists can accelerate from still to 62 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds, while an electronically-controlled 155 miles per hour can be reached as a top speed.
He concluded that motorists "buy an E63 AMG because they want their senses tingled and shaken up", while the combination of still springs at the front and air springs at the back help to bring together precise handling with a comfortable ride.
The Daily Telegraph recently remarked that the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG blended together the key attributes of a roomy estate with a performance car.
