Motorists looking for a little more than a practical, comfortable cruiser from their Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon may want to experience the thrills and spills of the E 63 AMG, it has been suggested.

What Car? commented in a review of the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG that the ability to choose between four different driving modes helps it transform into a "different beast" of a vehicle.

Simply by turning a dial on the car’s centre console, motorists can vary their ride between Controlled Efficiency, Sports, Sports Plus and Manual.

The review remarked that passengers are "blasted" from still to 62 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds as gear changes and engine speed become quicker, while changes can also be made to the suspension and stability control.

Furthermore, it was stated that the E 63 AMG had the ability to be "sensible and exciting in equal measures", while it should feature highly on any list of motorists looking for super-quick saloons.

On the inside, among the vehicle’s many luxurious features are an AMG three-spoke nappa leather sports steering wheel and upholstered leather sports seats.
