New Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG boasts more athletic appearance
July 29th, 2010The new Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG features an even more athletic and confident appearance.
To add to the car’s dynamic feel, the German manufacturer has incorporated a newly-designed bonnet, headlamps and radiator grille, as well as bicolour tail lamps and AMG bodystyling.
Mercedes-Benz adds that the "V8 Biturbo" lettering on the mudguards "points to the new powertrain".
Furthermore, the CL 63 AMG features new triple-spoke light-alloy wheels, painted in titanium grey and with a high-sheen finish, and is fitted with 255/40 and 275/40 R 19 tyres.
New in the car’s interior are is the AMG sports steering wheel with "silver-coloured aluminium shift paddles and specially shaped grip area covered with perforated nappa leather", in addition to the ‘AMG V8 Biturbo’ start screen in the AMG instrument cluster.
The CL-Class models from AMG, which were launched in 2007, are the leaders in their coupe segment.
Indeed, more than 6,000 CL-Class models have been sold since their market launch.
