New options for the R-Class
May 14th, 2007Mercedes-Benz has revealed that it plans to improve its R-Class people mover for 2008, according to reports.
The company announced that it will be revising the front and fear fascias of the model next year – with round fog lamps and trapezoidal surrounds to lower air intake being some of the new features.
In the future, Mercedes-Benz will also be offering the R-Class in both short and long-wheelbase options and a host of seating arrangements to allow the vehicle to carry between five and seven passengers.
The company said that the increased choice across the range “opens up even more possibilities, especially when it comes to seating arrangements”.
It added: “R-Class customers can also choose from three new paint colours: calcite white, sanidine beige or periclase green. These changes apply to both the short-wheelbase and long-wheelbase models.”
Mercedes-Benz first launched the R-Class in 2006, with the improved AMG version following at the 2006 North American International Auto Show.
