Excitement is building ahead of this summer’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, as Berliners prepare to welcome some of the biggest names in the industry.

German label Hugo, a branch of Hugo Boss, has been confirmed as one of the star attractions on Jul 12th, when the eagerly-anticipated event finally gets under way.

Fashionistas can also look forward to a spectacular show by British designer Vivienne Westwood, who will be promoting her Anglomania line.

Many will additionally look out for the innovations of Berlin designer Michael Michalsky, as well as the new Rudolf Dassler label from Puma.

The latter collection will premiere at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, as part of Puma’s 60th birthday celebrations. The Rudolf Dassler collection - named after Puma’s founder - includes shoes, clothing and accessories and it combines “well-loved details with modern urban wear”.

“The result is a surprisingly timeless line which respects its roots but has its feet firmly in the present,” a statement insists.

Taking place between July 12th and July 15th this year, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will be staged for the very first time in front of the Brandenburg Gate.
