Father’s Day perfection from Mercedes-Benz
June 13th, 2007Father’s Day is a notoriously difficult occasion for present-buying, but Mercedes-Benz appears to have come up with the perfect solution.
In conjunction with the Brooklands Centenary Festival, Mercedes-Benz World has lined up a weekend to remember, made extra special by the opportunity to take part in the Mercedes-Benz World driving experience.
The AMG Experience will introduce dads to "the most awe-inspiring cars in the Mercedes-Benz range", offering them the opportunity to drive around purpose-built handling circuits and the wet skid circle.
For those keener on the M-Class and GL-Class, an Off-Road Experience may be preferable. Based on a demanding ten-acre off-road terrain course, this challenge will involve steep slopes, water-crossings and axle-twisting obstacles.
But the day does not end with the driving. Dads will also be able to splash the cash in the exclusive Boutique, which stocks stylish jackets, ties, cufflinks and bags. A gourmet meal in the Gullwing restaurant will then provide a fitting end to the day, as fortunate fathers take in the magical views of the original Brooklands racing circuit.
Those interested in spending Father’s Day at Mercedes-Benz World are encouraged to call 0870 400 4000 or visit the Mercedes-Benz World website.
And if you are simply interested in enjoying the Brooklands Centenary Festival this weekend, call 0870 850 6639 or visit the Brooklands Festival website. The festival will showcase the largest collection of Brooklands machines since the track closed almost 70 years ago, along with a number of true legends from the world of motorsport.
