Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes over Berlin
This January, the second Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin takes place, combining the style and luxury of Mercedes-Benz with some of fashion’s top names.
Despite being in only its second year, the event has established itself as one of the most important events on the fashion calendar.
Dr Kristina Hammer, director of global marketing communications at Mercedes-Benz, said: "Design and style have always been defining aspects of the Mercedes-Benz brand. Our involvement in fashion is an expression of our brand identity."
The fashion week began on Sunday and runs until Thursday and is the stage for the launch of the Mercedes-Benz CLC sports coupe.
Advertised with top fashion model, Eva Padberg, the Mercedes-Benz CLC is aimed at young, fashion and technology conscious customers with its stylish design and desirable infotainment functions.
As well as sponsoring its own Fashion Week in Berlin, Mercedes-Benz also sponsors other international catwalk events including the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York which follows the shows in Berlin from February 1st to the 8th.
