The Mayor of Kingston is being driven around in a new Mercedes-Benz after the executive car beat off the competition for his new wheels.

David Berry is transported in a new Mercedes-Benz E-Class after it was decided that he needed a new vehicle.

Speaking in council question time, council leader Derek Osborne said the new vehicle was better than previous cars used by the Mayor and it was chosen from a shortlist of 12.

According to reports from the Wimbledon Guardian, the Mayor sits in the back seat of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in his full robes.

The luxury E-Class provides passengers and drivers with a comfortable way to travel.

Ergonomically formed seats offer support, comfort and protection while Neck-Pro active head restraints provide added security.
