Family driving challenge coming to Mercedes-Benz World
Mercedes-Benz World is giving families the opportunity for a great day out this summer in the form of the Mercedes-Benz World Family Driving Challenge.
Running between July 1st and September 7th, all family members will be able to take part in the event, as long as they are taller than 1.5 metres.
This means children can go head-to-head against mum and dad to see who is the best.
All competitors will be assessed on their road skills and penalised for any mistakes, with the person scoring the most points crowned the winner at the end.
A Mercedes-Benz World expert will be on hand to coach the children through the event, meaning the parents will be up against it.
A first and second place podium gives winners a chance to celebrate their victory, while each participant will be presented with a certificate.
Peter O’Halloran, managing director of Mercedes-Benz World, said: "When we came up with the concept of the Family Driving Challenge, it was a way for parents to keep the children - and themselves - occupied during the school holidays.
"However, our practice sessions have shown that having a driving licence won’t guarantee you beat your ten-year-old son or daughter - so we are warning parents not be too confident!"
