Performance and driving dynamics combined with new Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG
July 3rd, 2009Motorists looking for a car that combines outstanding performance with exhilarating driving dynamics may want to buy the new Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG.
The distinguishing feature of the sports saloon over other vehicles in the E-Class range is the inclusion of an AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine, while the vehicle also comes with the newly-developed AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension.
This engine will allow motorists to accelerate to 62 miles per hour in a rapid 4.5 seconds, while an electronically limited top speed of 155 miles per hour can be reached.
Meanwhile, a decision to implement certain fuel-efficiency measures has helped the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG to reduce its fuel consumption by 12 per cent.
A further new development is the fitting of a speed-sensitive rack-and-pinion steering system, offering drivers more direct responsiveness and improved precision.
Motorists looking for additional sporty elements to their vehicle could also opt for some add-ons such as an AMG spoiler lip on the boot lid or a roller blind for the rear window.
Furthermore, Mercedes-Benz reveals that "AMG bodystyling accentuates the dynamic external lines with front and rear aprons and two twin chrome exhausts".
