June 19, 2012

Mercedes-Benz was delighted to continue its association with fashion and design by making sure guests at the first London Collections: Men were effortlessly chauffeured to every catwalk show in style and elegance.

Organised by the British Fashion Council, the three-day showcase (15–17 June) launched spring/summer 2013 collections from iconic British brands, alongside innovative emerging talents, in an exciting new direction for British menswear.

Mercedes-Benz was the Official Car Sponsor of this stylish new weekend in the menswear calendar and a fleet of striking cars were out out in force in the nation’s capital.

A who’s who from the worlds of music and fashion gathered on Selfridges rooftop to celebrate London Collections: Men with Disturbing London – the menswear label fronted by Tinie Tempah – of which Selfridges is the exclusive stockist. The party, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, was hosted by Tinie Tempah, a member of the 2012 Menswear Committee and included an eclectic mix of celebrities, industry insiders and fashion press.

VIPguests included JLS, Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Tinchy Strider, Danny O’Donoghue, Reggie Yates and Rio Ferdinand, as well as members of the Fashion 2012 Menswear Committee: Dylan Jones, editor of GQ, David Gandy, the World’s highest paid male model, and Harold Tillman, Chairman of the British Fashion Council.

In addition to the star-studded guest list, highlights included a set from Delilah, the hottest new act in the UK, while MistaJam and DJ Charlesy delivered an equally impressive performance on the decks.
