New CLS 63 AMG offers ‘smooth’ driving experience
February 11, 2011

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is characterised by a “smooth” driving sensation, it has been noted.

A review of the next-generation model appearing in Whatcar? observed that the power and torque delivery, the gearshifts and the responses of the electro-mechanical steering ensure the Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG is a fluid car to drive.

“Through a series of centre-console buttons you can adjust the firmness of the damping and the sharpness of the steering, throttle response and gearshifts. In the softest of the four options you even get engine stop-start, helping to save fuel in traffic,” the car magazine explained.

These features combine to ensure that the Mercedes-Benz CLS AMG is comfortable in any surroundings and all driving conditions, Whatcar? said.

Other notable attributes include a cabin with S-Class-quality fittings and switchgear.

Furthermore, the next generation Mercedes-Benz model boasts the rare distinction of being a discreet high-performance vehicle.

The new Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG is, in fact, described by the news provider as the best AMG model on the market.
