The New Mercedes-Benz Antos

We’re delighted to announce that Mercedes-Benz has extended its family of trucks with a new member: the Mercedes-Benz Antos – the first model series designed specifically for heavy-duty distribution use.
Meeting the demands of a new era in the transport industry, the new Antos offers a tailored, purpose-built solution for all distribution applications from 18t upwards.
Innovations include 2.3-metre wide cabs that are available in either short or medium-length versions, both offering a combination of easy access, optimised ergonomics and intuitive controls.
Equipped with a broad spectrum of engine power, 13 ratings in total from 240hp to 510hp, the new Antos is perfectly geared for the challenges of varying terrains and loads. In addition, responsive and dynamic powertrain configurations featuring the latest range of Euro VI BlueEfficiency Power engines cut fuel consumption and CO2 emissions considerably.
Besides this, improved aerodynamics, high steering precision and a wider, more rigid frame guarantee superior handling and comfort, while an array of optional systems such as Active Brake Assist 3 and Attention Assist provide increased safety.
Offering tremendous functionality and efficiency in every detail, backed up by low maintenance costs, ease of body mounting and a diverse product portfolio, including special models designed for payload-sensitive haulage, the new Antos is set to make a big impression from the word go.
