The New Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake
June 29, 2012
Blending the poise of a coupé with the practicality of an estate – the new CLS Shooting Brake represents a new direction in Mercedes-Benz design language.
Echoing its four-door CLS-Class sibling with an expressive front section, frameless side windows and sweeping roofline, this striking new model owes its distinctive rear end to the custom-built Shooting Brake vehicles of the past.
Styled with muscular haunches, wrap-around LED tail lights and a dramatically sloped tailgate, the estate-style rear offers not only ample load space, but also maximum versatility thanks to a range of innovative features.
The top-hinged tailgate facilitates easy access, while clever seating configurations and convenient storage solutions, including a rear bench that folds completely flat, cater for today’s multi-faceted lifestyles with ease.
Inside, premium style meets perfect ergonomics, offering supreme comfort and luxurious finishes throughout. Coupled with innovative technology – from the superb COMAND online infotainment system to the advanced multi-function steering wheel – the new CLS Shooting Brake is set to impress on all counts.
Hitting UK showrooms in November 2012. Stay tuned for updates.
